This leading contracting company supplies construction and engineering services to a wide range of clients across KSA. Their clients include government organizations, oil& gas companies and multinational development organizations. They employ in excess of 4,000 staff and are part of a well know Saudi family group.
They are seeking to add a key member of staff to the team on a consultancy basis; providing expert Logistics / Supply Chain advice and supporting the Supply Chain team during the implementation of the SAP system.
The objectives for the role include;
JOB PROFILE & KPA
• You will support the logistics team by being able to add professional guidance and support to the organization; you will be utilizing your experience of managing over 20,000 item codes on an end-to-end supply chain in the contracting – or building materials business. • You will be working to develop a supply chain data base management system • Helping define optimum stock levels in the contracting business. • Working with the management team to develop procedures and supply chain policies for project managers and warehouse operators. • Providing effective people management – Business & people strategies - work assignment planning – time management & training capabilities.. • Developing supply chain data analysis . • Periodical accurate reporting of supply chain KPI staff performance & implement feedback recommendations
You will need
• Ideally a BSc in Mechanical or Civil Engineering with Msc in logistics management • 10 years experience as Supply chain management experience in the contracting business • 5 years experience in SAP-Supply chain & RIB or SAP Project systems • Should have completed at least two supply chain management build up projects in the contracting or building material business.
