This expanding construction group is seeking an experienced Estimating Engineer to join their team. Based in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia this is an excellent opportunity to work on a range of construction projects across the Kingdom.
Key elements of the role will include;
• Organisation of the tender team; overview on method of construction, production requirements, resources and subcontractors.
• Review tender documents, co-ordinating the preparation of technical and commercial data
• Preparation of budget proposals.
• Analysis of Bills of Quantities
• Provide leadership to the team of planners & estimators during preparation of bid
• Liaison with Management regarding aspects like risk analysis, insurance , cash flow and other commercial concerns
• Assist with final preparation of the Tender/Proposal submission to the client.
• Investigate, collect and analyse data to ensure variances managed
To be successful in this role you will need strong educational background; Civil engineering degree as a base but further studies would be preferred.
You will need 6+ years experience in the field of estimating and some regional experience would be prefferred. Arabic speaking ideal but not essential.
